Well, I finally snagged a saturday off from work, so now i'm sitting around, a bit depressed. Two of my good friends are dating. Now I don't have a problem with this, but they are destroying their relationships with me and all of their other friends because all they only seem to care about eachother. I care deeply for both of them, but I'm only human. My heart can only take so much, and then, I'll have to just give up my friendships with both of them.
Quote of The Day:
Is there someone you know
You're loving them so
But taking them all for granted
You may lose them one day
Someone takes them away
And they don't hear the words you longed to say...
I would give anything I own
Give up my life..my heart...my home
I would give everything I own
Just to have you back again

Nothin' interesting to report today. Work sucked as usual, and i am very bored. So i took a personality test. Here's my results:

Nothing particularly interesting to report, although the final summer chorus concert went quite well. My camping trip in Michigan is in about 10 days and i'm very excited. We're gonna celebrate my old man's 50th b-day and my little bro's 12th b-day. Lots to do for that, and of course I've been procrastinating again. Oh well, things will come together at the last minute (I know from experience that they will). Maybe this is why I'm single, because I always put off talking to people. Oh well, eventually I'll learn.
Quote of the Day:
If I only had the words to tell you
If you only had the time to understand
Though I know it wouldn't change your feelings
And I know you'll carry on the best you can
If I only had the urge to tell you
If you only know how hard it is to say
When the simple lines have all been taken
And the radio repeats them ev'ry day
If I never find the song to sing you
If you always find it hard to comprehend
Well you know there wouldn't be much meaning
If I had to sing those tired words again
Life goes on and on, and tonight will soon be gone
But if we try we can be sure
If I only had the words to tell you
If you only had the time to understand
But I only have these arms to hold you
And it's all that you can ask of any man

Well, the final summer chorus concert is tonight. Last night's show went quite well, except for the fact that I completely screwed up the lyrics in my solo. Thankfully, in the four years I had him as a teacher, Mr. Wesp taught me how to cover it. Nobody even noticed! I think I screwed up because I've had a lot on my mind lately, especially someone I'm starting to really like. Unfortunately, I'm too darn shy to tell her how I feel. O well...
Quote:
The mist of the morning in this strange town,
lifted slowly with the sun,
refracted the rays in a thousand ways,
a new day just begun.
And it crowded against my window sill,
still sweet with the morning dew.
If only you knew,
how much I think of you.
By a stream of running water,
I heard you laugh.
I closed my eyes for an hour and a half,
and tried to make you appear.
I swear in the beauty of the setting sun,
you were here.
An old troubador on the street that night,
plays for our passin' change.
On a fiddle in g, a melody,
mysterious and strange.
He learned on a green distant mountain top,
a wedding waltz,
so sweet and true.
If only you knew,
how much I think of you.
If only you knew,
how much I think of you.

Well, so far, today has been one of the best days i've had in a long time. Excluding the fact that I came in 45 minutes late, work for once didn't royally suck. They finally let me see some action in the grill, and even sent me home early. My voice has also decided to come back, great timing since summer chorus concert #1 is tonight:) I'm really excited, because my solo is turning out to be awesome even though I'm constantly wheezing(cough! cough! wheeze! hack!(sorry!)) Now if only I could get a girlfriend...oh well, I'll find someone eventually.
Quote:
I can't light no more of your darkness
All my pictures seem to fade to black and white
I'm growing tired and time stands still before me
Frozen here on the ladder of my life
Too late to save myself from falling
I took a chance and changed your way of life
But you misread my meaning when I met you
Closed the door and left me blinded by the light
Don't let the sun go down on me
Although I search myself, it's always someone else I see
I'd just allow a fragment of your life to wander free
But losing everything is like the sun going down on me
I can't find, oh the right romantic line
But see me once and see the way I feel
Don't discard me just because you think I mean you harm
But these cuts I have they need love to help them heal

Why can't I find someone?
Well, I seem to have quite a dilemma on my hands. I finally found someone that I like, but right now, that kind of relationship isn't possible. Oh well, something may come of it yet; as someone once said, god works in mysterious ways.
Quote of the Day:
I practice every day to find some clever lines to say
To make the meaning come through
But then I think I'll wait until the evening gets late
And I'm alone with you
The time is right your perfume fills my head, the stars get red
And oh the night's so blue
And then I go and spoil it all, by saying something stupid
Like: 'I love you'
-"Something Stupid", Frank and Nancy Sinatra

A Fun, Fun Friday
Well, today was certainly one of the more exciting days i've had in a while. I went out and actually did something fun with my evening. I wish I had a different shift at work so I could hang out longer. Oh well, the scheduling manager never listens anyway. Anyway, summer chorus is moving along, but starting to worry me. We've only got 3 rehearsals left and a lot to learn. Oh well, off to bed:)
Quote of the Day:
They say that anger is just love disappointed
They say that love is just a state of mind
But all this fighting over who is anointed
Oh how can people be so blind?

Day 2- Same old, Same old
Well, nothin new to report today, except that all my friends lives seem to have improved about 1000% over the past week:) Problem is, this means I'm next in line for some horrible family problem or something. Oh well, maybe I'm just being paranoid or something. Anyway, off to summer chorus!)
Quote of the Day:
When you're getting tired of normal
You sometimes think you've lost your will
You see something less formal
And reconcile to try to move in for the thrill
Was it breaking down like most do?
Or searching for happiness where you're supposed to?
