My Strange Little World

Well, I'm back from my week and a half vacation and except for the gash on my foot and my sunburn, I feel great. The upper peninsula of Michigan is absolutely gorgeous. I really needed to get away from work and the rest of hell, er, i mean my life. Now I just have to jump back in. I think that not thinking about the hell going on at home did me some good. It was actually starting to have an effect on my work. But now I can go back to work with a rejuvenated body and a clear mind.

So far, everything seems to be almost exactly as I left it. Hopefully the situation with my two friends is as calm as it was. Last I heard, everyone was looking forward to a well deserved vacation. I think everyone really needs a vacation, especially with school approaching. Well, off to find something for dinner and nurse my foot.
